The rise of video content

Video has become increasingly important in graduate recruitment – and in general – over the past few years. The world watches over 1 billion hours of YouTube content every single day, and we know that amongst young people in particular, film is one of the most popular ways to consume information. According to a survey by Business Insider, 65% of young people check Instagram every day, while 62% are daily YouTube users.

During the current crisis – where face-to-face meetings between recruiters and students aren’t currently possible – video content has become even more vital. It not only provides access to important information, but also allows students to gain an insight into the culture and values of a workplace.

Always keen to stay ahead of the curve, we’ve been creating engaging films for our clients for many years. And during current times we’re working with businesses to look at different ways of making video content, while maintaining social distancing. This includes voiceover and animation, as well as supporting the creation of user generated content, and adding extra value in the editing and post production processes.

Creating content in this way allows for global reach, and it’s both cost effective and simple to do. If you’d like to learn more about how we can support you with video content, please get in touch.
